iPhone bendgate happening in Devon?

With the recent release of the iphone 6 and iphone 6 plus there have been stories  circulating on the internet and social media about the iphones bending.

Initially the YouTube video released by Lewis Hilsenteger of Unbox Therapy demonstrated this.

Many leading tech firms and consumer testing companies have published their own findings.

During the past couple of weeks we have received, not one, but two iPhone 5 devices that have been bent.

As this is not a problem we have seen previously, so is it a coincidence? Have the techies of Devon been consumer testing other iPhone models to see how they compare?

Of course you will end up with a broken iPhone screen, as you can see in this bendgate picture, if you bend the iphone to the point where it is no longer straight.

The iphones in question now have new replacement screens and have been straightened out again.
