Image sizes for social media

A collection of image sizes for use across social media platforms

I find that I am always searching around trying to find this information each time I want to create an image to post.  Also they tend to be different size requirements across the different platforms.

Creating this post will mean that I should only have to remember to come to this one place next time I am looking at uploading an image.  Until they change the image size requirements again that is 🙂

Facebook

Cover photos : 851 pixels wide and 315 pixels tall

Timeline photos   504px w x 378px h

Thumbnails (on shared links) must be at least 200px x 200px

Twitter

Profile photos are 400×400 pixels.

Header photos are 1500×500 pixels

Tweets, any size up to 5Mb is allowed.
